It started with a light tingle, a slight burning sensation on the tip of my exposed arm. But I ignored it, thinking it would just be a light sunburn. Nothing I couldn’t handle. Little did I know that within a few days, I would be in agonizing pain from the angry red blisters covering my entire body. A sunburn that had taken hold of me in all its searing misery and wouldn’t let go. I had never felt such pain before in my life. I knew I should have worn a long-sleeved shirt that day.
