It’s been a long journey but I have finally broken free from catarrh. After months of sneezing, sore throat, and an itchy nose, I am finally feeling like myself again.
At first, I was embarrassed. The idea of having a lingering cold had me down in the dumps. People would ask me if I was okay and I would just smile and tell them I was alright. I knew that I wasn’t okay, and it was hard to make myself admit that I was struggling with something.
When I finally made my way to the doctor and found out what I was dealing with, I was relieved. It was finally a diagnosis, and I could work on healing.
The doctor prescribed me a daily nasal wash using a neti pot. After a few weeks, I started to feel the results. My nose was clearing out and my senses were coming back. I felt more energized and ready to tackle anything.
Next, I began a daily medication schedule to strengthen my immune system and reduce the likelihood of me getting sick again. I took it religiously and saw more results. I was still dealing with sneezing, congestion, and runny nose, but I was happier, because I was fighting to get better.
Finally, I am here today feeling like a completely new person. I’m no longer dealing with the catarrh, and feeling strong and healthy again. It took time, patience, and dedication, but I did it. Now, I’m more prepared than ever to take on whatever life throws my way.
